- All orders take two full business days to process, so orders cannot be shipped the same day they are placed. Shipping wine is complicated by various state-mandated limits and requirements. We run your order through our state compliance matrix to ensure a legal shipment. It takes two business days to process the order, check it, and then send on to picking and packing.

- It is vital that an adult (21 years or older) is physically present at your shipping address to sign for the shipment as required by law. Therefore, since no shipments will be delivered without someone age 21+ present, we strongly urge you to ship to a business address; this will minimize the possibility of missing delivery attempts.
- Upon the third missed delivery attempt, your shipment will be returned to Cakebread Cellars. If this occurs, we retain your original shipping charge. We’ll kindly ask you to cover the expense to re-ship it back to you.
- We can not ship to a US Postal Service Box.
