Call for Entries

You’re invited to enter our 31st Annual Cakebread Cellars Photo Contest. The tradition began when we started to get postcards and snapshots from our customers telling us when and where they were enjoying our wine. Some are exotic, some are eccentric, some are close to home, some from far away, but all are great fun.

How to Enter

To enter, email your caption (25 words or less) and photo as a high resolution attachment to: social@cakebread.com

Be sure to include a creative caption (25 words or less). Entries must be submitted between September 18, 2023 and November 12, 2023. By submitting your entry, you are agreeing to our photo policy**.

The Prize

Name engraved on the perpetual Photo Contest Trophy on display at the winery and personal engraved (smaller) trophy to keep.

How Many Winners?

One, to be announced in December 2023.

Entry deadline is November 12, 2023.

Criteria of Judges

We will be looking for the best picture/story combination. The quality of the picture counts a lot.

Helpful Suggestions from the Judges

Make sure the label is clearly visible.

The label photographs better on a cloudy day or in the shade.

The label’s white color causes it to reflect, it can be challenging.

Exotic locations aren’t always the best.
