Wine Club FAQs
We’re honored to have you in our Wine Club, which we see as an extension of our Cakebread Family. Our Guest and Member Services team is here to ensure you enjoy your Wine Club membership to the fullest. When do membership benefits begin?
Your membership benefits begin once you purchase the current shipment.
Will I be notified of upcoming shipments?
Approximately two weeks prior to your shipment, you will receive an e-mail notice with the expected shipping date for your wines.
What are my shipping costs?
Shipping costs are predicated by both the delivery address and current fuel surcharges.
Where is it best to ship my wines?
Because an adult signature is required by law for all wine shipments, we recommend shipping to a place of business. Should your wine be returned to us, you will be responsible for the original shipping costs.
Can I substitute wines in my shipment?
If by chance you do not prefer one of the varietals in your scheduled shipment, give us a call to update your wine preferences.
Can I move from one club to another?
If you want to change from your existing club to one which best suits your wine preference or want to add an additional club to your membership, give us a call.
Can I skip a shipment?
You are welcome to skip one shipment per calendar year with no questions asked; simply alert us of your decision. If more than one shipment is skipped, your membership will be canceled. You can re-join at any time.
Can I send guests to the winery?
Members must be present to enjoy wine club benefits. If you wish to have a family member enjoy a complimentary tasting for up to 4 guests, give us a call so we can make a reservation on our Cakebread Classic tasting experience.
If I give the gift of wine membership, am I a member too?
The wine club membership is exclusive to the gift recipient, so why not become a member as well?
How do I cancel my membership?
Although we would love for you to stay, just call or email us to let us know your decision. You may cancel your membership at any time after receiving one shipment.
