Each year we select multiple small lots of red wine from our vineyard estates, then ferment the fruit in small, open-top stainless steel tanks. After aging in French oak barrels—a significant portion in new oak—the wine is blended to capture its juicy flavors and supple tannins.
About This Wine
We named our much-loved Rubaiyat wine after one of the world’s most romantic and enduring poems. The blend of ripe red fruit changes from vintage to vintage, but it’s always robust and deeply flavorful California red, with the kind of bright acidity that makes this wine everyone’s favorite versatile food-pairing choice.
