Each year we select multiple small lots of red wine from our vineyard estates, then ferment the fruit in small, open-top stainless steel tanks. After aging in French oak barrels—a significant portion in new oak—the wine is blended to capture its juicy flavors and supple tannins.
The 2019 growing season kicked off with ample winter rainfall to replenish the soils. A long warm summer with foggy mornings and plenty of sunshine allowed for the grapes to ripen slowly and steadily. Grapes reached peak maturity with balanced fresh fruit flavors and acidity.
